I just got my first paycheck from my summer job and I’m so excited that I decided to spend it all on a Tesla Model 3! I know, I know, some of you are thinking “what the heck is he thinking?” but hear me out. This was a really important decision for me and I’m so glad that I made it. In this blog post, I’ll talk about why I decided to buy a Tesla and what happened after I drove it off the lot. Stay tuned!
1. I was so excited to get my first paycheck, and I wanted to spend it on something special
When I got my first job, I knew that I wanted to spend my paycheck on something really special. After all, this was the first time that I was actually earning money on my own. So, when I started thinking about what I wanted to buy, there was only one option: a Tesla Model 3!
The Tesla Model 3 is a really special car. It’s not only environmentally friendly, but it’s also really luxurious and stylish. Plus, it’s great for the environment, which is something that’s important to me.
2. I decided to buy a Tesla Model 3 – here’s what happened
After I decided to buy a Tesla Model 3, I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel and take it for a test drive. And when I finally did, I was blown away. The car is amazing – it’s fast, luxurious, and really easy to drive.
Plus, it has all of the latest technology features like automatic climate control, heated seats and mirrors, bluetooth connectivity, etc.
- Automatic climate control: This is a really important feature for me, especially during the summer. I live in Texas and it gets really hot here. The automatic climate control keeps the car cool without having to blast the AC all day long, which saves a lot of gas!
- Heated seats and mirrors: These are great when you’re driving at night or during cold weather because they keep your body temperature regulated so that you don’t get too cold or hot while driving.
- Bluetooth connectivity: This is another great feature because it allows me to connect my phone to the car and listen to music from my playlist without having to use wires!
Plus, there are so many other technology features like automatic lane changing, blind spot monitoring system (BSM), etc. that make driving this car a joy!
3. The car is amazing and I love driving it, but it’s expensive to maintain
The car is amazing, but it’s expensive to maintain. For now though, just knowing that every day when get up in the morning or come home from work there will be something waiting for me at my driveway makes me feel like a kid on Christmas morning.
I’ve also been reading up about superchargers which are a type of charging station that can charge your car in less than an hour, so they’re great if you want to go on road trips or just need some extra juice while driving around town!
4. Here’s a breakdown of all the costs associated with owning a Tesla Model 3
The cost of a Tesla Model 3 starts at around $45,000. However, the cost of owning a Tesla Model can be much higher depending on your driving habits and how often you need to service the car.
Some of the costs associated with owning a Tesla Model include:
- Tesla Roadside Assistance: This is a service that provides help if you get stranded while driving your Tesla Model. The cost for this service is $50 per year.
- Tesla Service: Tesla offers several different types of services, but the most common one is the “Annual Service.” This service includes a checkup of all the car’s systems, new tires if needed, and a software update. The cost for this service starts at around $300 and goes up to around $700 depending on the type of service you need.
- Tesla Service Center: If your Tesla Model needs repairs that can’t be done at home by yourself, then you’ll have to go into a Tesla Service Center for them. The cost for this starts at around $200 and goes up from there depending on the type of repair that needs to be done.
- Electricity: Depending on where you live, the cost of electricity may vary. However, as a general rule, charging your Tesla Model will cost around $0.20 per kWh. So, if you charge your car every day, it will cost you around $12 per month in electricity costs.
- Car Insurance: The cost of car insurance will vary depending on the type of policy you have, your age, and other factors. However, as a general rule, expect to pay around $100-$200 per month for Tesla Model car insurance.
5. Despite the cost, I’m glad I bought the car and would do it again in a heartbeat
Even though the car is expensive to maintain, I’m glad that I bought it and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I feel like buying this car was a really good decision for me because it has made my life easier. Now, when I go somewhere far away from home, I don’t have to worry about how much gas will be used or if there is enough room in the trunk for my groceries.
Also, I can always pick up someone who needs a ride because there’s plenty of room in the backseat! Plus, it makes going on roadtrips so much more fun since I can drive around without worrying about getting lost or having to stop every few miles just to check directions again.
My experience so far with my Tesla Model 3 has been amazing. I’m looking forward to spending more time in the car and getting to know it better.
